After the attack on Venezuela and an unprecedented kidnapping of the country’s president, Nicolas Maduro, Trump, flushed with the seeming ease of his “victory” declared the whole of Latin America to be his property. He forbade the countries of Europe and Asia to do any independent business on that continent. Back in May 2019, he called our country an “old enemy.” But his current statement is of a new qualitative nature. Statement by the Chair of the CPRF Central Committee A real hysteria has swept the West about the alleged “atrocities” of the Russian Army in the city of Bucha located near Kiev. The victims of the “atrocities” were allegedly discovered as soon as our Army left the region. The Russian Federation has declared the necessity to call an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council in order to demand that Ukraine provides evidence. The Defence Ministry of the Russian Federation has already officially denied the accusations, stating that not a single civilian was injured during the location of Russian military formations in this city.
