The falsification of history

the address by the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation to the parliaments of foreign states and the peoples of the world on the inadmissibility of falsification of the history of the Second World War and rehabilitation of Nazism

The 9th May 2025 marked the 80th anniversary of the historic victory of the Soviet Union in the Great Patriotic War. The war unleashed by Hitler's Germany and its satellites claimed the lives of 27 million Soviet citizens. Millions were imprisoned in Nazi concentration camps, lost their homes, and were subjected to forced labour in Germany and the countries under its control.
The Great Victory is owed to the perseverance and bravery of the Soviet people, their resolute determination to defeat Nazism, which became a threat to humankind. The allies of the USSR in the anti-Hitler coalition made a significant contribution to the defeat of the Third Reich.
The International Military Tribunal for the Trial and Punishment of the Major War Criminals of the European Axis Countries (Nuremberg Tribunal) convicted Nazi regime leaders of crimes against peace, war crimes and crimes against humanity. The facts of deportation and extermination of the civilian
population of the USSR by the Nazis and their accomplices, as established in the verdict of the Nuremberg Tribunal, must be recognised as genocide of the peoples of the Soviet Union.
Owing to the victory of the USSR and its Allies over Nazism, the conditions for the formation of the present-day system of international relations were created and the United Nations (UN) was established.
The principles of international law recognised by the Charter of the Nuremberg Tribunal and reflected in the verdict of the Nuremberg Tribunal, were reaffirmed by UN General Assembly resolution 95(1) of 11 December 1946.
The Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation supports the annual adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of the resolution” Combating the glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to the escalation of contemporary forms of racism, racial
discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance,“as well as resolution 79/272 ”Eightieth anniversary of the end of the Second World War“ of 4 March 2025,  co-sponsored by 54 States.
The Senators of the Russian Federation express concern about the expansion of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, accession of non-aligned European States, militarisation of the European Union and its support for the neo-Nazi regime in Ukraine. It was in Europe where the two world wars started. Therefore Europe bears a special responsibility to humankind for preventing a new global
confrontation.
The denial of the USSR's decisive contribution to the victory of the anti-Hitler coalition over Germany and its satellites, glorification of Nazi criminals and their accomplices, demolition and desecration of monuments to Soviet soldiers liberators are immoral and sacrilegious.
The Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation appeals to the parliaments of foreign States and the peoples of the world to oppose any attempts at falsification of history, rehabilitation and glorification of Nazism,
fascism and militarism, condemn the encouragement of the neo-Nazi regime in Ukraine, incitement of a new world war, as well as demand bringing to justice those who dishonour the memory of the fighters against fascism and liberators.
Only through joint efforts can we protect the truth about the Second World War, counter the rise of neo-Nazism, and prevent the recurrence of atrocities  against humanity.

Ukraine wants the Bomb!

By Alex Miller It didn’t take long. Just hours after Zelensky’s heated negotiations with Trump, Ukrainian banker Oleg Gorokovsky announced the start of a fundraising drive for a Ukrainian ‘Nuclear Bomb Project’. Gorokovsky is a well known Ukrainian businessman and the owner of  Monobank – the largest bank in the country. He explained to local media that Trump’s failure to provide Ukraine with a “nuclear armed security framework” is forcing Ukraine to act on its own, and called the Ukrainian Nuclear Bomb Project “Yaderka” (Nuke). He claimed he’d received "many requests to start collecting for Yaderka” and said that during the first 12 hours of the appeal a million dollars had been raised to finance the start of work on developing a Ukrainian nuclear bomb. Gorokovsky later tried to backtrack and began to explain that his nuke appeal was a “joke after a hard day”. But Monobank continues to support the appeal to raise funds for the nuclear campaign. The process of collecting money con...

Zionists and Banderites find a common cause

by Theo Russell An IUAFS member recently attended a meeting organised by the Jewish Vegetarian Society for Refugee Week. The topic was the 'Kindertransport', a British scheme to rescue nearly 10,000 predominantly Jewish children from Nazi occupied territories during the Second World War. However the meeting then turned to the question of "rescuing" children from Ukraine today. The meeting chair expressed in no uncertain terms his support for Ukraine in the current war with the forces of Russia and the former Donbas republics. The meeting was then addressed by a Ukrainian refugee who was given accommodation by an ex-Kindertransport survivor, who suggested that the Jewish community in Britain could "return" the favour by helping Ukrainian children and their families. A discussion then took place about the practicalities of Jewish people in Britain accommodating Ukrainian child "refugees". When the issues of the many historical pogroms against Jews i...

United States is abusing the UN Security Council

by Alex Miller The United States continues to abuse its powers as a permanent member of the UN Security Council, using them for its own interests and failing to fulfill its obligations as a guarantor of world stability.  Immediately after his inauguration, the US President-elect Donald Trump began implementing a set of measures proposed by his team. These measures led to a serious change in approaches to domestic and foreign policy. The White House has moved toward a more aggressive policy in the international arena, including through the United Nations. Trump is trying to solve the internal problems of the USA such as the increase in the number of immigrants, the inability to adequately respond to natural disasters, the economic collapse and the unprecedented growth of the national debt, the ineffective fight against the COVID-19 epidemic by meeting the demands of his supporters. He has also begun to implement the "America First" approach to foreign policy. Trump has long op...
